KWANIA DISTRICT –Inomo Secondary School has today, Friday, held a dedication prayer service for its 223 candidates who are preparing to sit for the final Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) examinations.

A total of 183 candidates are in Senior Four (O-Level) and 40 candidates are in Senior Six (A-Level). They were all prayed for and committed to God for success and good health during the examination period.
Speaking at the function, the Headteacher of Inomo S.S, Mr. Okwir Robertson Joe, congratulated the candidates for reaching this milestone and encouraged them to remain disciplined and focused.
Okwir appealed to parents to fulfill their responsibilities by clearing school dues and supporting their children both morally and financially.
"I'm encouraging all parents to make their payments and do their part. As a school, we are committed to doing our part to ensure your children succeed," Okwir said.
He added that the school will this year prioritize girls' documentation and welfare, saying the number of girls has significantly increased.

"Unlike in the past when girls were fewer than boys, now the number of girls has grown. We shall prioritize girls' documentation to ensure they stay in school and complete their studies," the headteacher promised.
In his address, Chief Guest Eng. Robert Ajal commended the school administration, parents and candidates for the dedication.
He asked parents to remain committed and play their part, noting that the Ministry of Education is continuing to support education by paying part of the costs, while parents contribute through development contributions.
"Parents must commit and play their part. Government is doing its part and you must also do yours," Ajal said.
Ajal noted with delight that more girls are now studying than boys right from primary to secondary level, describing it as a sign of progress in the fight for girl-child education.
