Delivering the main sermon, Bishop Emeritus John Charles Odur Kami cautioned mourners against putting all trust in earthly pleasures.

The Bishop emphasized that seeking wealth and doing business are not wrong, because poverty is not something Christians should aspire to. Instead, believers should use their wealth and resources to serve God and support His Kingdom.

He explained that building God's Kingdom goes beyond contributing money to the church. It also involves prayer, fellowship with other believers, worship and living according to Christian teachings.
